The icon is hand-painted according to Byzantine tradition and style, with mineral pigments and egg emulsion. In front, the golden leaves (22 K) and colors are covered with protective varnish. The back of the wooden panel is covered with damar varnish.

Panels are entirely made of natural wood. All materials used to prepare the wood for iconography are natural as well.
