The icon is hand-paint with mineral pigments, egg emulsion. In front the golden leaves and colors are covered with protective varnish in order to stay fresh. The back of the wooden panel is covered with dark-colored varnish. The background is golden gravured.

Panels are entirely natural wood. All materials used to prepare the wood for iconography are natural as well.
