The icon is hand-painted according to Byzantine tradition and style. Painted with mineral pigments and egg emulsion. In front, the golden leaves and colors are covered with protective varnish. It preserves colors so they stay fresh. The back of the wooden panel is covered with dark-colored varnish.

Panels are entirely natural wood. All materials used to prepare the wood for iconography are natural as well.
