The icon is hand-painted according to Byzantine tradition and style. Painted with mineral pigments, egg emulsion. In front the golden leaves – 23.7 K – and colors are covered with protective varnish. It preserves colors to stay fresh. The back of the wooden panel is covered with dark-colored varnish.

Panels are entirely natural wood. All materials used to prepare the wood for iconography are natural as well.
