The icon is hand-painted according to Byzantine tradition and style using egg emulsion and natural pigments. In front, the golden leaves (23.7K) and colors are covered with a final protective varnish.The back of the wooden panel is covered with dark-colored varnish.

The desk used for the iconography is entirely made of natural wood. All materials used to prepare the wood for iconography are natural as well.
