This icon is a copy of the late 12th- early 13th cc. icon of our Lord Jesus Christ which is now in the Museum of Svaneti, Mestia
Custom requests and orders are welcome!
The icon is hand-painted with mineral pigments, egg emulsion. In front colors are covered with protective varnish. It preserves them to stay fresh. The back of the wooden panel is covered with dark-colored varnish.
Panels are entirely natural wood. All materials used to prepare the wood for iconography are natural as well.
