This icon is a copy of the late 12th-early 13th-century icon of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is now in the Museum of Svaneti, Mestia.
Custom requests and orders are welcome!
The icon is hand-painted with mineral pigments and egg emulsion. The front colors are covered with protective varnish. It preserves them to stay fresh. The back of the wooden panel is covered with dark-colored varnish.
Panels are entirely made of natural wood. All materials used to prepare the wood for iconography are natural as well.
