The icon is hand-painted according to Byzantine tradition and style—mineral pigments, egg emulsion, and final varnish. In front, the golden leaves and colors are covered with protective varnish. It preserves colors, keeping them fresh. The back of the wooden panel is covered with dark-colored varnish.

Panels are entirely made of natural wood. All materials used to prepare the wood for iconography are natural as well.
