Nativity of Jesus Christ icon

The icon is hand-painted according to Byzantine tradition and style (mineral pigments, egg emulsion).  Final varnish is used to cover and protect the desk in front.  The back of the wooden panel is covered with dark-colored varnish.

The desk is made of natural wood. All materials used to prepare the wood for iconography are natural as well.
