The icon is hand-painted in the Byzantine tradition and style, using mineral pigments, egg emulsion, and gold leaves (23.7K). The final varnish is applied to cover and protect the desk in front. The back of the wooden panel is coated with dark varnish.

The desk is made of natural wood. All materials used to prepare the wood for iconography are natural as well.
